Motherly Care Children's Home (MCCH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a loving home to the many orphaned children in Kenya. We strive to rescue children who have been displaced, abandoned or orphaned as a result of HIV/Aids or physical or sexual abuse. Our goal is to meet the physical, mental and spiritual needs of every child. We directly support MCCH needs, such as providing porridge for a daily meal, helping build classrooms or sanitation facilities, sponsoring children's school expenses and meeting basic medical needs. Generous contributions from MCCH donors fund projects that bring hope, opportunity and a future to each of these children.

MCCH is currently providing shelter for about 150 children, supported by 15 volunteers.  We are in desperate need of housing.  At the moment, two to three children share each bed.   Also, there are no showers in the home; the children bathe using buckets.  Another important improvement we need is a modern commercial kitchen to replace the outdoor cookshed we use to fix three meals a day.

Motherly Care Children's Home is a chartered member of, and in good standing with, Anchor Bay Evangelicalistic Association.  As such, any donations made to Motherly Care Children's Home comes under IRS regulation 501(c)(3) and is income tax deductible.
